This Juneteenth flag is available in 2x3ft, 3x5ft, 4x6ft, and 5x8ft. Fly this flag proudly in the celebration of the end of slavery. Juneteenth is celebrated on June 19th, known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day. It was June 19th, 1865 that enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, became Americans under the law.

In the center of the flag field is a bursting star with the date, June 19, 1865 on the fly end. This flag is digitally printed on 200 denier nylon with four rows of lock-stitching on the fly end for outdoor use. Finished with a snow white heading and two brass grommets. Made here in the U.S.A.

Here is a closer look at the Juneteenth flag parts and the meanings:

  • The red, white, and blue colors represent a reminder that slaves and their descendants were and are Americans.
  • The curve between the blue and red on the field symbolizes the new horizon for African Americans.
  • The white stars represent Texas, where the country’s last remaining slaves received their freedom in 1865.
  • The star outline represents a nova, a new beginning for the African Americans of Galveston as well all throughout the land.
